Many areas around the county are experiencing the growing problem of vandals tagging glass and other surfaces in public areas using etching tools, acid, and paint. Our anti-graffiti films are an excellent cost-effective solution to mitigate this damage. These films provide a clear sacrificial surface that can be removed and replaced if “tagged” or vandalized.

Whether they are applied to vertical or sloped glass, mirrors or stainless steel, in malls, on buses, in office buildings or on subways, installation and replacement by our professionally trained staff is quick and easy, avoiding the disruption caused by window replacement. When vandals strike, the film is simply removed along with the tags, revealing the unspoiled glass surface below, which is now ready for the replacement sacrificial film.

Reflective Films

Reflective window tinting film is completely opaque and provides both daytime and nighttime privacy. This film has a matte finish on the interior side. Matte window films makes glass safer if broken, by holding broken glass together, reducing fallout of shards, and is considerably more durable than black paint, which can crack and split in months.

Note: Ummato window film is not recommended for installation on dual-pane windows. Dual-pane windows have a seal that may be compromised when too much heat is absorbed by the window. If your windows are dual-pane, we recommend you choose Whiteout Window Film to block visibility without overheating your window.

Non-Reflective Film

Thin film anti-reflection coatings greatly reduce the light loss in multi-element lenses by making use of phase changes and the dependence of the reflective on index of refraction. A single quarter-wavelength coating of optimum index can eliminate reflection at one wavelength. Multi-layer coatings can reduce the loss over the visible spectrum.

The idea behind anti-reflection coatings is that the creation of a double interface by means of a thin film gives you two reflected waves. If these waves are out of phase, they partially or totally cancel. If the coating is a quarter wavelength thickness and the coating has an index of refraction less that the glass it is coating then the two reflections are 180 degrees out of phase.
